I keep getting errors when uploading my document. What should I do?

Follow the steps below and you’ll usually be back on track in no time.

1. Check the basics first

Make sure everything is filled in:

✏️ A clear document description

🏷️ Relevant tags

💾 Click ‘Save’ before selecting ‘Upload now’

2. Still not working?

Try this:

  • Log out of your Stuvia account

  • Switch to a different browser (Google Chrome works best)

  • Log back in at Stuvia.com

  • Go to ‘Sell’ and try uploading again

3. Check file size and format

Please make sure:

  • Your file is under 60 MB
    → Too large? Compress it or split it into parts

  • Your document is saved as a PDF
    → This often fixes upload issues instantly
